Emerald was a houseguest on Big Brother 1. She was a very strong competitor during the whole season, winning 5 Head of Household competitions and 5 Power of Veto competitions. She was able to take full control of her HoH week 1, where she chose to keep Haley, Alyssa & Large immune. She was also able to get Jungle out who would potentially be a threat in the future. She was also able to win the Week 2 Power of Veto competiton, securing Pretty's fate. She held off on competition wins and let her alliance do the dirty works for 2 weeks until Week 5 where she won yet another competition getting out Rob. She won the following veto competition and couldn't decide which ally to use it on and decided to discard it which sealed Haley's fate. During the first round of the double eviction, she was grateful when Bob used the veto on her and was then kept off the block by him when he won the hoh in the 2nd part. Emerald had no other allies besides Bob, who was evicted the week after where she stayed 4-0. Emerald knew she had to win her way to the end, she won the HoH and Veto during week 10 and got out Quag. She was than spared by Large when she walked during the eviction, cancelling Alyssa's HoH. She than won the following HoH, Power of Veto than the final hoh, getting out both Killed & Fresh. The jury viewed Emerald as the stronger player and rewarded her with the win over Alyssa by a close vote of 6-5.
Host Opinion
I knew that Emerald would be a strong player this season. She won the most competitions, and didn't receive 1 vote to evict. She proved herself this season that winning competitions can get you to the end. Good luck in the future Emerald!
